Patricia L. Hoy 78, of Russell passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 in the Community Hospice Care Center.

Mrs. Hoy was born December 24, 1938 to the late Charles and Amy Spaulding Davis in Ashland.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son Edward Allen Hoy; sisters Shirley Gunderson, and Mary Cover; nephew Albert Cover Jr.; brothers-in-law Jerry Gunderson, Albert Cover Sr., and Fred Smith, and Willis Hoy. 

Patricia was a member of the Gospel Tabernacle Church in Ashland where she was very involved in serving her Lord. She was a creative woman who loved to make floral arrangements, and bake for her family and friends.  Patricia was also a former member of the Russell Civic League.

She is survived by the love of her life and husband of 61 years, Ralph Hoy; granddaughter Rachael Nelson; sister, Carolyn Smith; sister-in-law Ella Mae Hoy, and a host of nieces, nephews and many others that will miss her dearly.

Funeral Services will be at 1 pm Friday, June 23, 2017 at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods with Pastors Acy Gibson and Bill Hammond officiating. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 2 hours prior to service time Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to be made to the Community Hospice Care Center.
