This past summer I had two family members pass away. I was relieved to see Amanda Ferrell when I walked in. She does everything humanly possible to make these difficult times bearable. She truly cares about the well being of the family . I also cannot praise Bob Greene, Josh and Phillip enough.

Thank you Bob, Josh, Amanda and Phillip. I cannot imagine going anywhere else and getting the support, kindness and help that this team provides. The loss of my parents was a devastating time. They walked every step with our family and went beyond what was expected to honor my father as a Navy Veteran. Nine weeks later they showed the same compassion during the loss of my mother. They don’t just help with arrangements, they help you to heal.

I highly recommend this institution. Very caring and professional. They truly went above and beyond anything i was expecting. Josh, the one handling the arrangements went all out to meet our needs. He was truly exceptional. All the staff was kind and helpful that i encountered. My ex-daughter in law passed leaving my 19 year old grandson in charge of her funeral arrangements. Treating him like an adult instead of a child, Josh worked closely with him, knowing our finances was limited, he made it possible for us to get her ashes and hold a small memorial. Plus we jokingly related how Rachia liked bubbles. When we arrived at the funeral home for the memorial there setting beside her urn was a bottle of bubbles and a blow wand. If that isn't going the extra mile to add a personal touch, then what is? Thank you Carman Funeral Home from all the family for being there and listening to us in our time of grief.

Carman Funeral Home recently helped with the service for my dad, Wayne England. They have helped our family in the past with my dad's parents as well. They are always so helpful, kind, and compassionate. I would highly suggest them to help you in the most difficult time of your life.

Carman Funeral Home has served our family for as long as I can remember. I remember Bob Greene from the time I was just a little girl. It's been several years since we have lost a family member and this past week I lost my beloved father. This is the first time I have had to make any funeral arrangements. I was an emotional wreck, drained of energy, and dreaded walking in. We were cordially greeted as we walked in and led to a nice quiet room. There Josh walked us through everything we needed to do so comfortably! He has went out of his way to make this traumatic time for our family easier for us. Everyone there at Carman's has been wonderful and very caring. We really appreciate their compassion that they have shown us over the last week! It means a great deal to our family.

Both of my parents have been wonderfully cared for by your funeral home in Flatwoods. I must tell you that this August as our Mother left this world, we were so fortunate to have Mr. Mark A. Ratliff work with my family. While my brother and sister who live close by handled the immediate process, and all those who helped presented our Mother to look so beautiful and natural as though she were sleeping...
