Mark Justice 56, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY.

Mr. Justice was born September 23, 1959 to Alice Carol Benard-Justice and the late Homer Erwin Justice in Ashland.

Mark was known for his time as member of the Breakfast Club on WLGC Radio, reaching out to many during his time on air. Along with that he was an avid reader and author. He was a co-creator of POD of horror; he also loved writing novels and short stories in the horror genre as well as pulp fiction. Mark had also written for the Ashland Beacon over the past few years. In his lifetime he was nominated and received several awards for his writings and radio broadcasts. Mark adored his family, enjoyed making people laugh and loved to serve his community if he thought he could make the slightest difference.

Left behind to cherish his wonderful legacy are his wife of 33 years, Norma Kay Ison Justice,; one brother David Justice; two nieces Jessica Ison, Scarlett Rose Justice and one on the way Presley Rose Pilkington; his three cats which were his kids, Archie Goodwin, Kallie Bear, and Sabrina Bell. Also left behind are numerous other family, friends, and fans.

A Life Celebration will be held in Mark’s honor at Advance Memorial United Methodist Church in Flatwoods, KY, on Saturday, February 13, 2016 beginning at 2:00 pm. Carman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to be made to the Mark Justice Memorial Fund in care of the Kentucky Farmers Bank.
