Dennis Wayne Williams, 70, of Flatwoods passed away Monday, May 22, 2017 in Oakmont Manor.

Mr. Williams was born June 15, 1946 in Greenup County to the late Virgil and Marie Williams.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers Virgil Williams Jr., and Billy Ed Williams.

Dennis was a retired electrician from Kentucky Electric Steel. He was a simple man that enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, but most of all he loved to cut his grass when he wasn’t spending time with his family.

Surviving is his wife, Judy Williams; four daughters, Lisa (Randall) Griffith, Melissa (Darrell) Hall, Melanie (Scott Mauk) Brogan, and Kelly (Eric) Edmonds; son, Greg (Davonna) Suiter; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sisters, Delores (Pete) Flocker, and Sharon (Daryl) Smith; brothers, James “Bubby” Williams, Robert (Marietta) Williams, Phillip (Pam) Williams, and Ted (Robin) Williams, along with a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 11 am Friday, May 26, 2017 at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods. Burial will be in Caroline Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Thursday, May 25 at the funeral home.
