William “WE” Love 88, of Oak Hill, OH, formerly of Russell passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at his residence.

Mr. Love was born Jan. 25, 1929 to the late William and Mattie Love Sr. in Russell.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by brothers Jack Love and Clyde Meadows; Sisters Betty Wells, Esther Meadows, and Maxine Meadows.

William proudly served his country and retired from the United States Navy, during that time he served in WWII and the Korean War. After his retirement from the Navy he began working for C&O Railroad where he retired in 1986.

Surviving are his sons Bill (Jayne) Love, and Bob Love; Daughter Sandra (Tommy) Allen; Grandchildren Chelsea (Tyler) Bailey, Jessica (Mike) Wooten, Christina (BJ) Wurts; Great-grandchildren Sierra, Adrianna, and Audrey Hall, Brooklyn Sheperd, McKenzie Wooton, Levi, Maci, and Hope Bailey.

Graveside services will be Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 2 pm in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.
