Gracie Brown 78, of Ashland passed away Sunday, Jan 1, 2017 at her residence.

Mrs. Brown was born December 11, 1938 to the late Johnnie and Rebecca Poplin-Triplett in Greenup County, KY.

She is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Brown; Daughter Rhonda Schroeder and granddaughter Dusty Larae Mays; Sisters Dorothy Osborne, Reba Gullet, Stella Slaughter and Mary Margaret Traylor; Brothers Ellis, Jimmy and Bob Triplett.

Gracie loved to sew and make floral arrangements. She was a crafty woman that enjoyed crocheting. Gracie was the Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary for Post 95, American Veterans.

Surviving is her daughter Debbie Felty; Grandchildren Causetta Michelle Summers, Robert Felty Jr., and Andrea Henderson; Great-grandchildren Haley Varney, Riley Henderson and Ciara Cooper. Also surviving are sisters Sylvia McDermott and Mollie Harris; Brothers Carl and Troy Triplett.

Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family.
