William Booth

William E. Booth, 92, of Worthington, passed away May 27, 2019 at his residence.

Mr. Booth was born in Ironton, Nov. 11, 1926, to the late Archie and Alice Booth.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Archie Booth Jr.

William was a member of Raceland First Baptist Church. He served his country proudly in the US Navy and Army; he enjoyed boating, going to the gun range and was a former Kentucky Colonel.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Thelma Booth; one son, David (Carolyn) Booth; sister-in-laws Barbara Burchett and Kathryn Lee; nieces and nephews, Laura Lee (Dave) Johnson, Phillip (Teressa) Burchett, Alex Johnson and Angelee Johnson.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods with Brothers Charles Blevins and Tom Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be after 12:00 P.M., Saturday at the Funeral Home.
