Wendell R. “Buck” Clark Sr., of Flatwoods, passed away Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019, at home surrounded by his family.
Buck was born Jan. 24, 1935, in Flatwoods, to the late Morton E. Clark and Julia Groves Clark.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beulah Lee Clark; 15 brothers and sisters.
Buck was a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran. He attended Flatwoods Pentecostal Church and retired as a Carman from C&O Railroad. Buck loved watching UK Basketball and gardening, especially working with his roses and summer garden.
He is survived by three daughters, Cindy Clark, Karen (Bill) McKenzie and Sheila (Allen) Reed; three sons, Wendell (Tonya) Clark Jr., Steven (Patricia) Clark and Gregory (Kay) Clark; one brother, Randford G. (Marilyn) Clark; one sister, Dee Dee (Glen) Davis; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019, at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, at the funeral home.
