Walter Bramblette

July 2, 1928 ~ August 21, 2021 (age 93)


Walter Bramblette 93 of Ashland passed away Saturday August 21, 2021, from a sudden illness surrounded by his family.

He was a United States Army Korean War Veteran where he served a medic and ambulance driver stationed in Germany. W.T. was retired from AK Steel. He was an avid knife collector and loved to go to estate sales.

Walter T. was preceded in death by his parents, all his siblings, and first wife Edith Haggard Bramblette.

He is survived by his wife Joyce; son Michael (Sandy), son Martin; daughters Leiane (Lanny) Hale and Melody (Norma), along with a step-daughter, Marlas Stewart. He had three grandsons, four granddaughters, five great grandsons, two great granddaughters.

Pallbearers will be Lanny Hale, Michael Bramblette, Martin Bramblette, Ryan Hale, Tyler Hale, Bryson Hale, Dallas Broz, and Thai Wright.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Carman Funeral Home with Brother Charles Shield officiating. Also participating in the service will be David Daniels and Landrea Suprlock. Burial will follow in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens. Military Honors will be provided by Post 93 and the Patriot Guard Riders.

Visitation will be after 12:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
