Thelma L Booth

Thelma L. Booth, 91, of Worthington, passed away January 7, 2022 in the Ashland Community Hospice Care Center.

Ms. Booth was born January 14, 1930 in Russell to the late C.D. and Laura Chaffin Merritt.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Booth.

Thelma was a member of the Raceland First Baptist Church where she loved volunteering and hearing the word of God. She also loved her family and enjoyed the time she was able to spend with them.

She is survived by her son, David C. (Ranae) Booth of Paducah, KY; and two sisters, Kathryn Lee and Barbara Burchett; niece, Laura (Dave) Johnson,  nephews; Phillip (Theresa) Burchett, Rusty (Anita) Lee; great-niece, Angelee Johnson; and great-nephew, Alex Johnson.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Carman Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M., Saturday at the funeral home.
