Terry Miles Davis

Terry Miles Davis, 72, of Flatwoods passed away March 6, 2021 in Oakmont Manor.

Mr. Davis was born May 26, 1948 in Melrose, KY, to the late Clyde E. and Minerva J. Mayo Davis.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Jo Carr and Phyllis Ann Richie.

Terry was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy where he was a two time Bronze Star recipient. He was known for his witty sense of humor. Terry was easy going and loved a good adventure. He was a former member of the Grace Baptist Church and a former steel worker at Armco. He enjoyed fishing and hunting in his younger years. He lived life to the fullest and is now having a great time in Heaven.

Surviving is his brother, Sonny (Anna Beth) Davis; nieces and nephews, Carrie Ann and Rebecca Jo Davis, Kythryn Carr Harris, William Carr and Robert Richie; special cousins, Madeline Grace (Henry) Williams and Bobby (Glenda) Branham; along with his fur baby, Angel.

In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Wounded Warrior Project. 

A memorial service will be Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church in Flatwoods. 

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Church. 

Military Honors will be held at a later date in the family cemetery.
