Terry Lee Rush, 78, of Flatwoods, passed away August 1, 2022 in the Cornerstone Rehabilitation Facility in Huntington, WV.
Mr. Rush was born November 20, 1943 in Ashland to the late Harold Rush and Virginia Knuckles.
In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by his step-father, Kenneth Knuckles; and two sisters, Pam and Sandy Rush.
Terry was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Vietnam War. He was a former employee of Armco Steel and was a Russell Police Officer. Terry was also a Kentucky Colonel.
He is survived by his wife and the love of his life of 50 years, Eloise Prater Rush. He was the proud father of two sons, Alan Rush of Deerfield Beach, FL and Dwayne Rush of Ft. Worth, TX; along with five brothers, Steve Rush, Jay Knuckles, Kirby Knuckles, Rick Knuckles and Ken Knuckles.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Carman Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday, August 5, 2022 at the Funeral Home.
