Stephen Cole Maple

Stephen Cole Maple, 35, of Flatwoods, passed away April 3, 2020 at his home.

Mr. Maple was born Jan. 26, 1985, in Ashland, the son of Sherry and Tony Tharp.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Neva McCarty and Paul Wells.

Cole was of the Christian Faith. He was a standout comedian who strived to make everyone laugh and smile; he was known to have never met a stranger. He enjoyed being the center of attention, loving people and could fix anything he put his hands on.

In addition to his parents Sherry and Tony, he is survived by his wife, Melisa Maple; four daughters, Leighken Maple, Sydney Maple, Camerynn Gillum and Addison Gillum; two sons, Brycen Maple and Crisjen Frazier; one brother, Cory (Ashley) Tharp; one sister, Amber McCleese; nieces and nephews, Kallie McCleese, Camron McCleese, Elijah Tharp, Emma Brown and Cali Mathes; along with a host of many other close family and friends.
