Sarah Jane Cherry

Sarah Jane Cherry, 23, of Worthington, passed away Nov. 4, 2018, in University of Kentucky Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 19, 1994, in Ashland, to John and Jeanna McCoy Cherry.

Sarah was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, John Cherry; paternal great-grandmother, Sarah Smith; maternal great-grandparents, Rudolph and Ethel McCoy, George and Anna Koutsunis.

Sarah was a 2013 graduate of Raceland-Worthington High School. She was an amazing artist that loved to draw and had a passion for cars.

Along with her loving parents, John and Jeanna, she is survived by her brother and sister, John Cherry and Heather (Jeff Clay) Cherry; niece and nephew, Raven and Jeffrey; great-niece, Rylee; paternal grandmothers, Linda McDonald and Vivian Cherry Barney; maternal grandparents, James and Phyllis McCoy; several aunts and uncles including, Jami McCoy, Pamela McCoy, Debbie (Bill) Christy, Jeff (Tammy) Boyd, Anna (Jimmy) Santana, Joe (Amy) Cherry, Jimmy (Johnda) Cherry, Gary (Tabitha) Nall, Christina (George) Stone, cousins, Jocelyn Stevenson, Hannah Harvey and James Charles; boyfriend, Steven Kent Lindsey; special friends, Jake, Chris and Jalen; and a host of other family and friends that will miss her dearly.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Thurs., Nov. 8, 2018 at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wed., Nov. 7, 2018 at the funeral home.
