Ruth Ann Plybon

Ruth Ann Plybon, 79, of Flatwoods, passed away June 7, 2019 in Community Hospice Care Center.

Mrs. Plybon was born in Huntington, Aug. 17, 1939, to the late Carl and Georgia Sword.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Paul Frederick; and one brother, Harold Sword.

Ruth was a former employee of Pennington’s Food Fair grocery store. She loved to craft, sew and enjoyed painting.

Surviving is her husband of 61 years, Orvil Plybon; one son, Terry (Wilma) Plybon; one daughter, Carla Ferderick; one grandson, Elliot Frederick; a special friend, Susan Little; and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Carman Funeral Home with Pastor Butch Deer Jr. officiating.

Visitation will be at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations are requested to be made to the funeral home for final expenses.
