Ruth Ann Brown

Ruth Ann Brown, 79, of Flatwoods, passed away May 26, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Brown was born July 27, 1940, to the late Robert and Shirley Halsey.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband George Brown Sr.; one son, Paul Brown; and one grandson, Grayson Childers. 

Ruth was of the Christian Faith. She enjoyed shopping, watching Wheel of Fortune and watching Church from home. She also loved giving her kids a hard time and joking around with them.

She is survived by one son George Edd Brown Jr. of Flatwoods; one daughter Barbara Ann Patton of Flatwoods; seven grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; along with sisters, Beverly Baez and Cindy Markland.

At this time there will be no services.
