Ruby E. Roush

Ruby E. Roush, 95, of Flatwoods, passed away Wednesday July 7, 2021 in Ashland Community Hospice Care Center, surrounded by her family.

Ms. Roush was born December 2, 1925 in Flatwoods, to the late William and Rachel Blevins Garvin.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy E. Roush; brothers, Bert Garvin, Ernest Garvin, Bruce Garvin and John Garvin; sisters, Grace Franklin, Dorothy Morrison and Jeannie Blanton.

Ruby was a member of Advance Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Greenup County Homemakers. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and visiting with friends.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Beth (Larry) Cordle and Margaret (Richard) Hattman; grandchildren, Jennie Marie (Jameson) Quaine and Andrew Ryan (Amanda) Hattman; seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Advance Memorial United Methodist Church 1007 Bellefonte Road Flatwoods, KY 41139.

Graveside Services will be at 11:00 A.M., Friday, July 9, 2021 in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens with Pastor Sean Shroll officiating.
