Roy "Bud" Kirk

Roy “Bud” Kirk, 72, of South Shore, formerly of Argillite, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 at his residence surrounded by family.

Mr. Kirk was born January 5, 1948 to the late Roy and Sadie Stewart Kirk.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a half-brother, Byron McReynolds; and his mother in law, Marie Headley.

Roy enjoyed coon hunting, spending time with family and loving on his grandkids. He attended Brush Creek Free Will Baptist Church.  

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Joyce Headley Kirk; daughters, Sadie (Tommy) Stacy and Amy Russell; son, Roy Kirk; grandchildren, Aundreana Davis, Heaven Brown, Dustin Kirk, Haley Kirk, Laiken Russell and Chesney Russell; great-grandchildren, Liam and Sofia Robertson; brother, Mitchell (Billie Jo) Kirk; sisters, Lucille Sark and Lula Lefebvre; father in law Virgil Headley; along with extended family and friends.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Carman Funeral Home with Brother Rick Kitchen officiating. Burial will follow at Oldfields Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 11:00 A.M., Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
