Rose Peters

Rose Peters, 85, of Flatwoods passed away April 6, 2018 in Oakmont Manor Nursing Facility.

Mrs. Peters was born May 31, 1932 to the late Fair and Maxie Bentley in Banner, KY.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Peters; three brothers, Omar, Larry and Mancie Bentley.

Rose was a member of the Westwood Church of Christ. She enjoyed quilting alongside of her husband, Calvin. She also loved taking care of her cats.

She is survived by two sons, Donald Peters and Paul Douglas (Dianne) Peters; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, with one on the way; four brothers, Fair “Bobby” Bentley Jr., Crit Bentley, Reese Bentley, Gilbert Bentley; three sisters; Louis Hamilton, Mae Cooper and Wanda Conley.

Funeral services will be at 1 P.M. Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods. Burial will follow in Davidson Memorial Gardens at 4:30 P.M. in Ivel, KY.

Visitation will be after 11 A.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
