Rose Hendricks

Rose Hendricks, 81, of Raceland passed away May 17, 2022 at Saint Mary’s Hospital.

Mrs. Hendricks was born September 9, 1940 in Ligonier, PA, to the late Mary Angelo.  In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Bruce Donald Hendricks and special friend Carolyn Webb.

Rose retired from the Greenup County Jail as a cook after many years of service. In her younger years she enjoyed fishing trips, horseback riding, boating and was an exceptional stunt driver loving the rush it brought her.  She was a professional mammaw and enjoyed every moment she was able to spend with family. Rose never met a stranger, bringing a laugh and smile to all that knew her.  

She is survived by her children Tracey Miller, Don (Michelle) Hendricks, Joseph Hendricks and Mary Hendricks; her former daughter-in-law Mitzi Hendricks; her grandchildren Jacob Miller, Carissa Hendricks, Drew Hendricks and Tyler Hendricks; along with her brother and sisters, John, Denise and Pat. 

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday, May 20, 2022 at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, May 21, 2022 in Pineview Cemetery in Orgas, WV.
