Ronald Edward Casto

Ronald Edward Casto, 81, of Raceland, KY went to be with the Lord May 9th, 2023.  Ronnie was born July 7th, 1941 in Russell to the late William Clayton Casto and Dorothy Marie Callihan Casto.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Madonna Faye Casto.

After nearly forty years and multiple roles, he retired as a control room operator from DuPont in Wurtland, KY.  Ronnie was a dedicated family man, married to Madonna for more than sixty years.  He enjoyed yearly family vacations in Myrtle Beach, SC.  At home he loved being outdoors and working in his yard which often led to setting up backyard activities for his granddaughters.  A life-long resident of Kentucky, he was an avid fan of UK football and basketball, cheering the Cats on both in-person and at home.  Growing up near the Russell rail yard led to an interest in model trains, as well as, many stories of the people and the goings-on of that area.  

He is survived by his daughter Lisa Michelle Casto-Litton, one son-in-law Byran Keith Litton, two granddaughters; Avery Quinn Litton and Adler Maisen Litton, one sister Denesa Ann (Bill) Tuney, one nephew Chase Tuney.

The family has requested a private graveside service that will be officiated by Charles Wayne Blevins.
