Robert Blaine Rutherford

Robert Blaine Rutherford, 76, of Flatwoods passed away March 30, 2021 at his residence.

Mr. Rutherford was born May 4, 1944 to the late Blaine and Martha Rutherford

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Beverly Ann Thompson Rutherford; one sister, Rebecca Jackson; and one brother, William Rutherford.

Robert was a former Locomotive Engineer for CSX after serving his country in the United States Navy. He was an avid fisherman enjoying time on the Dale Hollow Lake. He also enjoyed watching the University of Kentucky Basketball team and playing an occasional game of pool.

He is survived by two daughters, Lisamarie (Wesley) Rutherford-Boyd and Rebecca Pauline (Justin) Wood; and two grandchildren, Gemma and Owen Wood.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 5, 2021 at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 P.M. at Carman Funeral Home.
