Robert Lee Cathell

Robert Lee Cathell, 86, of Catlettsburg passed away, Sunday,  July 1, 2018, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.

Mr. Cathell was born July 9, 1931, in Adrin, W. Va., to the late Mitchell and Russie Cathell.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Tommy Cathell; and one special aunt, Nellie Barber.

Robert was a member of Garner Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed doing good things for others, bringing happiness to those around him and making others smile. Robert left a positive impact on all those he knew and enjoyed life to the fullest. He was a member of the Elderberries at church and made sure the coffee was always fresh.

He is survived by two nieces, Connie Withrow and Tammy Butler; one nephew, Cambridge “Bud” Williams; one sister, Helen Jordan; a very special friend, Jack Withrow; his family from Jolly Pirate Donuts, Vitality Center at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital, Cannonsburg Bob Evans and his Church family.

Funeral services will be at 11 am, Friday, July 6, 2018, at Garner Missionary Baptist Church in Rush. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 5, 2018, at the Church.
