Phyllis A. Richie

Phyllis A. Richie, 76, of Greenup, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018, in St. Mary’s Medical Center.

Mrs. Richie was born June 20, 1942, in Martin, to the late Clyde Edward and Minerva Virginia Mayo Davis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Richie; and one sister, Betty Jo Carr.

Phyllis was of the Baptist Faith. She was a graduate of Harlan School of Nursing and was a practicing nurse for many years. She also enjoyed collecting coins, art and rocks.

She is survived by her loving son, Robert (Michele) Richie; three grandchildren, AnnLouise Richie, Paden (Alyssa) Richie and Asher Richie; one great-grandchild, Skyler Ann Richie; and two brothers, C.E. “Sonny” (Anne) Davis and Terry Miles Davis.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Sat. Nov. 24, 2018, at Grace Baptist Church in Flatwoods.
