Patricia Jo Watson-Hatcher, age 59, of Raceland died in her home on Sunday, July 19, of metastatic colon cancer. She was born on March 17, 1961 to Chester Allen “Joe” Watson and Helen Wyvonna “Bonnie” Bryan Watson. A graduate of Raceland High School, class of 79, and Ashland State Vocational Technical School, she worked as an engineering technician for the City of Ashland until 1985, when she married Charles Hatcher and moved to Norwich, Connecticut. Pat worked as a construction estimator for Pelletier Builders of Coventry until, as a Navy wife, relocating once again to King’s Bay, Georgia. There she found work as a grant administrator at the St. Marys office of Precision Planning. In 1990 they returned home, where she worked for Frazier Construction and later Mountain Meadows.
Pat is survived by her husband Chuck, her sisters Sherry McCarty and Carol Vinson, nieces Bonni Potter (husband Gary), Gretchen Short (husband Ashley), Tessa Vinson, nephew Zach Vinson (wife Julie), great-nieces and great-nephews Kelsie and Trey Potter, Zoey Short, Isaac, Morgan, and Ava Vinson, and Kaleb Vinson and Kyran Pemberton.
