Nancy Carol Fannin Craig

Nancy Carol Fannin Craig, 82, of Greenup, Ky., passed away Monday, January 4th, 2021, in the Carmel Home, Owensboro, following a long illness.

Mrs. Craig was born April 13, 1938, in Raceland, the daughter of the late Gene and Lola Fannin.

Mrs. Craig was a retired educator. She spent most of her administrative career in the Raceland-Worthington Public School System. She was a member of Herald Memorial Methodist Church of Raceland. 

Mrs. Craig will be remembered fondly by her students at Greenup High School as a devoted instructor, mentor, and accomplished vocalist.

Mrs. Craig was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Luther E. Craig. She is survived by her daughter, Denise Hamilton, and son-in-law, Jody, of Owensboro; two grandchildren, Casey Hamilton and Neena Gaynor; and three great-grandchildren, Kennedy Hamilton, Josey Gaynor, and Wiley Gaynor.

A family graveside service will be held on Friday, Jan. 8, 2021, at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods with the Rev. Paul Badgett officiating.
