Nancy Cyrus McKenzie, 92, of Lexington, formerly of Ashland passed away April 17, 2018.
Mrs. McKenzie was born Oct. 19, 1925 to the late Rev. EL Lindsey and Adline Hay Cyrus in New Boston, Ohio.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Theodore McKenzie; one daughter, Rheada Jane Webb; two brothers, Charles Cyrus and Ronald Cyrus; four sisters, Sarah Wilson, Molly Sue Hatfield, Mary Mantzer and Olva Ferguson.
Nancy was a member of the Faith Christian Assembly in Flatwoods. She was a Kentucky Colonel, and an avid Cincinnati Reds Baseball and UK Basketball fan.
She is survived by one son, Philip (Carolyn) McKenzie; one brother, Lindsay Cyrus ;seven grandchildren, Christopher Lee Webb, Alicia (Edward) Patton, Kevin (Toni) Webb, Keith (Missi Kilbelbek) Webb, Leigh Ann McKenzie, Sarah McKenzie, Phillip (Lindsay) McKenzie; two great-grandchildren, Eli and Isaiah McKenzie; two step-greatgrandchildren, Caroline and Anton Patton.
Funeral services will be at 12 p.m., Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods. Burial will follow in Cyrus Family Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 10 a.m., Saturday at the Funeral Home.
