Mollie Marie Triplett Harris, 89, of Worthington, passed away July 28, 2020 at Boyd Nursing and rehab.
Mrs. Harris was born August 3, 1930 in Mingo, WV. A daughter of the late Johnny and Rebecca Poplin Triplett.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Harris; six sisters, Mary Margaret Traylor, Dorothy Osborne, Rhebie Gullett, Gracie Brown, Stella Slaughter and Sylvia McDermott; four brothers, Ellis, Jimmy, Troy and Bobby Dan Triplett; along with a great-granddaughter, Maddison Gollihue; special friend, Homer Haney.
Mollie was the former owner of Harris Grocery Store. She enjoyed crocheting, Gardening, fishing and spending time with her family and friends. She is the past President of the AMVETS Lady Auxiliary Post 95. Mrs. Harris was also a founding member of the Greenup County War Memorial.
She is survived by one brother, Carl (Jerri) Triplett; two sons, Everett Lee (Sophia) Harris and John (Cheryl) Harris; one daughter, Jeanette (Ken) Bradford; four grandchildren, Scott (Lesley) Bradford, Vanessa Hall, CB (Sherry) Harris and Amanda Harris; 12 great-grandchildren, Hayden Conn, Alexis Gollihue, Bailey, Morrison and Samantha Patton; Chloe, Cheney and Callan Bradford, Morgan, Isabella, Jacob, Caleb and Justin Harris.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, July 31, 2020 at Carman Funeral Home with Dr. Tom Melvin officiating. Burial will follow in Freeman Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 12:00 P.M., Friday at the Funeral Home.
