Michael A. Calhoun

Michael A. Calhoun, 60, of Russell, passed away December 17, 2021 in the Ashland Community Hospice Care Center.

Mr. Calhoun was born November 28, 1961 in Russell to Doug and Brenda Edwards Calhoun.

Michael was a former Civil Engineer for Vaughn & Melton. He loved living on the river and spending time with his family watching the barges pass by. He was also an avid sports fan and everything UK and Russell athletics.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Jeanne Wilson Calhoun; two sons, Jason (Angie) Calhoun and Eric (Marisa) Dadap-Wilson; three grandchildren, Isaac, Tallen and Asa; one brother, Doug (Meredith) Calhoun; and one sister, Christi (Eric) Vincent.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Ashland Community Hospice Care.  

Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 23, 2021, in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.
