Michael Coonrod

Michael Allen Coonrod 70, of Flatwoods passed away on Friday, November 22, 2019 at the Hospice Care Center.

Michael was born February 15, 1949 in Ironton, OH, to the late George and Wilma Brown Coonrod.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by brother, Oliver Coonrod; and sister, Thelma Sheridan.

Michael was an avid Woodworker, Firearm enthusiast, and enjoyed nature and was an all-around Patriotic human being with being a lifetime member of the NRA.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Carolyn Sue Christian Coonrod; son, William (Jennifer)  Hall; daughter, Leigh Ann (Matthew) Rodman; grandson, William Hall III; sisters, Ruth Coyer and Alma Killen; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Carman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Kentucky Veteran Cemetery Northeast.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to the service time, Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
