Mary Jo McKee

Mary Jo McKee, 77, of Ashland passed away April 23, 2019 at Kingsbrook Life Care Center.

Mary was born in Russell, Jan. 3, 1942 to the late Richard McKee Sr. and Ora Mae Salyers McKee.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers, Gene McKee, Richard McKee Jr., Gary Roger McKee and Charles Wayne McKee; two sisters, Betty Lou McKee and Shirley Eldridge.

Mary was a member of the Raceland Church of God of Prophecy and a former employee of Woods Point Nursing Home. She loved to cook and be with her family.

Surviving is one sister, Sharon (Gary) Ison; one brother, Donald (Barbara) McKee; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 26, 2019 at Carman Funeral Home with Pastor Carl Eldridge and Charles Mckee officiating. Burial will follow in Rude Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m., Friday at the funeral home.
