Mary Margaret Chinn Kleykamp

Mary Margaret Chinn Kleykamp, 89, of Wurtland, passed away Dec. 31, 2018, in Trinity Station Retirement Community.

She was born Jan. 15, 1929, in Wurtland, to the late Doyle Chinn and Chloe Melvin Myers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Wendell Flannery; her second husband, Dr. Paul Kleykamp; four brothers, Doyle Chinn Jr., Vernon Chinn, Richard Chinn, Phillip Chinn; and one sister, Jeri Turner.

Mary was a devoted member of Wurtland Church of The Nazarene for many years. She spent her life in the service of those in need. Born, raised and spending most all of her life in the Greenup County area, she became a well-known and well-loved member of the community. Her interests included shopping, baking, gardening and communing with friends. However, her greatest passions were loving God and giving to others.

A loving wife and mother, Mary greatly enjoyed spending time with her family. Whether it was fun vacations or simply spending a night in playing rook, she loved doing things with her children and grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her loving daughter, Connie (Bryan) Mauk; two grandchildren, Megan (Jayson) Lykins and Mary Elizabeth Mauk; and three great-grandchildren, Elijah Lykins, Noah Lykins and Malachi Lykins.

Funeral Services will be at noon Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019, at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods.

Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be after 10:30 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
