Maria Katelyn Tussey

Maria Katelyn Tussey, 34, of Ashland passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021.

Maria was born July 29, 1986 in Huntington to Kimberly (Jeff) Mourer Yates and Robert (Karen) Thompson.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Milton and Norma Mourer; and her paternal grandfather, Ted Thompson.

Maria’s brightest moment was becoming a mother to her daughter Norah. She was a kind hearted person who was always there to help others, offer an ear to listen and gave sought out advice from her friends.

Along with her parents, Kimberly (Jeff) Mourer Yates and Robert (Karen) Thompson, she is survived by her daughter, the love of her life, Norah Grace Tussey; and her paternal grandmother, Lois Thompson; maternal grandmother, Shirley Yates; along with a host of other family and friends who will miss her dearly.

In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to a charity if your choice in Maria's name. 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 1, 2021, in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.
