Marcia A. Wilks, 52, of Catlettsburg passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 in the Community Hospice Care Center.

Mrs. Wilks was born July 3, 1965 to the late Forest and Loraine Darby in Ashland.

Marcia was a former teacher at Cannonsburg Elementary School. She was active in her church, New Beginning Church of The Nazarene in Ashland, playing the piano and working with the youth program. She loved to travel with her family and visit Disney World.

Left behind to cherish her memory is her husband of many happy years, Dave Wilks; one daughter, Hannah (Chris) Martin; two sons, Chase (Nikki) Wilks and Andrew Wilks; three grandchildren, Caleb and Colton Wilks, Eliot Martin and Connor Wilks making his arrival soon; one brother, Randy (Lisa) Darby.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the New Beginnings Church of The Nazarene in Ashland with Pastor Kenny Martin officiating.  Burial will follow in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 6-9 pm, Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the church.

In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the New Beginnings Church of the Nazarene or Community Hospice.
