Marc Berry

Marc Berry, 73, of Flatwoods, passed away April 14, 2022 in King’s Daughters Medical Center.

Mr. Berry was born September 26, 1948 in Ashland, to the late Harold and Grace McGlone Berry.

Mark was the former manager of the Ashland Oil, Inc. printing service. He was a member of the Advance Memorial United Methodist Church, where he loved working to serve the Lord and was the president of the Methodist Men’s Group. Watching his grandson, Trey, play sports brought him happiness and joy, watching his talent grow. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing golf, spending time with his family and he was an avid Cincinnati Red’s fan.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Candy Berry; one son, Chris (Amy) Berry; the best sister he could ever ask for, Robin (Ron) Sexton; his grandchildren, Trey Berry, Lily Hayden and Taylor Timberlake; nieces, Leann (Hal) Rice Akers and Haley Layman; great nieces, Haley, Jenna and Laura Akers, Gracen and Greer Layman; brother-in-law, Lynn Rice; and a special friend, Thomas Frye.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Advance Memorial United Methodist Men’s Group.

Funeral services will be at 12:30 P.M., Monday, April 18, 2022 at Carman Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M., Monday at the funeral home.
