Linda Kay Johnson

Linda Kay Johnson, 71, of Flatwoods, KY., passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Ashland, KY., March 20, 1947 a daughter of the late John and Mable Sally Evans.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by five brothers Garland, Bill, Jim, Ottis and Johnny ; one sister Bonnie and one Grandson Tyler.

Surviving are her husband for 43 years Walter Johnson, two daughters Dr. Andrea (Reuben) Rice of Fort Worth, TX., and Sherry (Rev. John) Lear of Elizabethtown, KY; four sons Brent (Anglea) Fryer of Grayson, KY., Mark Johnson of Elizabethtown, KY., David Johnson of Summerset, KY., William (Ladarius) Mitchell- Johnson of Houston, TX; eight grandchildren Kyle Rinne, Justin Fryer, Issac  Johnson, Sarah  Johnson, Hailey Lear, Chase Lear, Joey Rice, Alex Rice and a very true Friend Sandy Knipp.

Funeral Services will be 1 P.M. Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the First Pentecostal Church in Flatwoods, KY., 1110 Bellefonte Road., with Pastor Shane Cox and Rev. John Lear officiating. Burial will follow at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, KY. Friends may call at the Church Saturday from 11 A.M. until the funeral hour at 1 P.M.
