Linda Sue Felty

Linda Sue Felty, 76, of Flatwoods, passed away May 30, 2019, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.

Mrs. Felty was born in Flatwoods, June 13, 1942, to the late Alonzo and Anna Lee Hayes Burton.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, William “Bud” Felty; one son, Willam E. Felty Jr.; and one sister, Johnda Ferrell.

Linda was a member of the Macedonia Christian Church in Lexington. She loved bluegrass music, dancing, camping and being with her grandchildren.

Surviving is one sister, Ruth Bailey; grandchildren, Molly Felty and John Felty; nieces and nephews, Alvin (Pam) Bailey, Terri Bailey, Kelly Ferrell; great nieces and nephews, Daniele (Zach) Hunter, Alvin (Hannah) Bailey, Chip (Tiffany) Bailey, Amber (Dustin) Howard and Hope (Brady) Harris; cousins, Martha Hayes and Harold (Beth) Hayes; daughter-in-law, Darlene Felty; sisters-in-law, Cloetta, Bertha, Vonda, Carol, Cheryl, and Phyllis.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., June 3, 2019 at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods with Mark Dunn officiating. Burial will follow in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., June 2, 2019 at the funeral home.
