Lillie Lorene Taylor

Lillie Lorene Taylor, 94, of Argillite, passed way Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.

She was born Feb. 5, 1924, in Johnson County, to the late Martin Luther Fitzpatrick and June Blair.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Taylor; two brothers, Walter Fitzpatrick and Johnny Fitzpatrick; and a sister, Darlene Blair.

Lillie was a homemaker and loved to quilt, garden, working outside and listening to records with her grandchildren. She was of the Protestant faith.

She is survived by a daughter, Deloris Wells; two grandchildren, Lori (Brad) Gehringer and Ted Garrett Wells; six great-grandchildren, Ian Taylor Gehringer, Andre Gehringer, Georgia Gehringer, Bennie, Gehringer, Autumn Wells and Robbie Wells; and one sister, Flossy George.

At this time there will be no services.

Carman Funeral home in Flatwoods is in charge of arrangements.
