Leola Stafford

Leola Stacy Stafford, 91, passed away November 12, 2021 at her home in Sterling, Virginia. Mrs. Stafford was born July 24, 1930 in Hazard, KY to the late Dewey and ­­­­Ethel Stacy.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Phillip Stafford, her daughter Sandra Stafford, her stepmother Lucy Stacy, and four brothers and sisters, Lloyd Stacy, Leonard Stacy, Viola Hubbard, and Jason Stacy.

Mrs. Stafford enjoyed reading, spending time with her family and friends, and watching the Kentucky Wildcats basketball team. She loved traveling, having both visited and lived in several places around the world.

She is survived by one sister, Harlene (Thomas) Lawson; three children, Greg Stafford, Judy (Reynald) Dacuyan, and Sherry (Brian) Milburn; six grandchildren, Derek Schur, Kyle Dacuyan, Nicole (Vincent) Dacuyan-Faucher, Rachael Milburn, Philipp Stafford, and Kate Stafford; and one great-grandchild, Molly Faucher.
