Lea Ann Bailey, 42, of Flatwoods, passed away, Saturday, April 28, 2018, in Cornerstone Hospital in Huntington, W.Va., after a brave fight with a long illness
She was born Aug. 31, 1975, in Ashland, to Ruth Ann Burton Bailey and the late Alvin Bailey Sr.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Clarence Bailey; her paternal grandmother, Lillian Bailey; her maternal grandparents, Alonzo and Anna Lee Burton; two uncles, Charles Bailey and Bud Felty; an aunt, Johnda Ferrell and a cousin, William Felty.
Lee Ann was of the Pentecostal Holiness Tabernacle Faith. She loved eating, laughing, country music and most of all, Billy Ray Cyrus.
She is survived by one brother, Alvin (Pamela) Bailey of Flatwoods; one sister, Terri Bailey Patton of Columbus, Ohio; two brothers-in-law, Tim Miller and Johnny Patton; three aunts, Linda Felty, Beth Hughes and Brenda Gimpelson; and two uncles, Todd (Wendy) Bailey and Bob (Dreama) Bailey.
Lea Ann is also survived by six nieces and nephews, Jeffery (Rocie) Chalupa, Alvin (Hannah) Bailey III, Amber (Dustin) Howard, Daniele (Zach) Hunter; Alvin Chip (Tiffany) Bailey and Hope (Brady) Bailey; eight great-nieces and nephews, Jayla Chalupa, Alvin Carter Bailey, Mariah Chalupa, Kensleigh Bailey, Kaylin Chalupa, Raegan Howard and Sawyer Bailey; and eleven cousins, Renee Bittel, Rhonda Marshal, Kelley Ferrell, Ty Bailey, Shawn Bailey, Jason Clark, Kristin Wyscarver, Trey Jones, Molly Felty John Felty and, Evan Bailey.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods with Pastor Beverly Sharp officiating.
Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 30, 2018, at the funeral home.
