Kevin Scott Diedrich

Kevin Scott Diedrich, 63, of Wurtland passed away December 27, 2020 in the University of Kentucky Hospital.

Mr. Diedrich was born March 25, 1957 to the late Glen and Ruth Griffith Diedrich in Ironton, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Erick Diedrich.

Kevin served his community proudly, for over 40 years, as a police officer for the cities of Russell and Flatwoods. He was also the president of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #45. Kevin was a member of the First Baptist Church of Grayson. In his free time you would find him out on the water fishing or sharing a meal with friends and family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Alice Schmidt Diedrich; two daughters, Natalie (Jeromy) Blum and Sarah Diedrich; one step-son, Deacon Griffith; one grandchild, Parker Blum; and two sisters, Marsha Diedrich and Karen LaFrance.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #45.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Carman Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m., Saturday, at the funeral home.
