Kenneth Jeff “Boo Boo” Hensley, 65, of Flatwoods passed away June 13, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Hensley was born December 5, 1955 in Flatwoods, KY, to the late John and Lucille Owens Hensley.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters Barbara Tackett, Olive Bledsoe and Patty Melvin.
Kenneth retired as a Conductor with CSX railroad. He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Flatwoods. He enjoyed his grandsons and taking rides with them on the golf cart and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Thompson Hensley; two sons, Jeffery (Jennifer) Hensley and Pete (Maggie) Hensley; grandsons, Logan Hensley, Morgan Hensley, Kenny Hensley and Ronnie Hensley; brothers, Ronald Hensley, John (Sandy) Hensley and Butch (Elise) Hensley; sister, Helen (David) Medley; special cousins, Tom Carr, Warren Hensley and Dale Hensley; along with a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Carman Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Boggs officiating. Burial will follow in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday June 16, 2021 at the Funeral Home and one hour before the service Thursday.
