Kenneth Johnson

Kenneth Darrell Johnson, 81, of Catlettsburg passed away July 30, 2019 in the Community Hospice Care Center with his daughters by his side.

Mr. Johnson was born November 26, 1937 in Grundy, VA to the late Delma and Chester Johnson.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Helen Johnson and grandson Adam Stambough.

Kenneth attended New Testament Freewill Baptist of Ceredo. He was a member of the Greenbo pathfinder. He enjoyed woodworking, camping, fishing, watching westerns and he was a Kentucky Colonel.  

Left behind to carry on his legacy are his daughters Lynn (Richard) Stambough and Nancy Howard; Grandchildren, Kenny Cline, and Robbie Howard; Great-Grandchildren Emmalee Stambough, Jake Stambough, Maddox Cline and Nolan Cline

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods with Pastor Eddie Hay officiating. Burial will follow in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M., Friday, August 2, 2019 at the Funeral Home.
