Katherine White

Katherine White, 62, of Flatwoods passed away Saturday, Dec. 28, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. White was born July 27, 1957 in Ashland to the late William and Palestine Daniels.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by on great-granddaughter, Braelynn Ousley.

Katherine was known for her outgoing personality and ability to spin a story into something everyone wanted to hear. Children would flock to her and one of her passions was to care for all around her. She enjoyed reading her bible and attended the Hoods Creek Freewill Baptist Church. She loved to cook and for fun with the family she enjoyed sitting around the table to play a game of poker.

She is survived by her loving husband, Terry White; two daughters, Angela Adams and Christy Adams; grandchildren, Patrick Adams, Sammy Adams, Kyle Ousley and Tiffany Ousley; great-grandchildren, Emma, Wyatt, MacKenzie and one on the way; two brothers Clifford (Teresia) Daniels and John Daniels; one sister, Jeanie Skaggs; along with a host of nieces, nephews and other close family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, Jan. 3, 2020 at the Hoods Creek Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Barker officiating. Burial will follow in Whitt Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020, at the Church.
