Judith Burgess

Judith Burgess, 71, of Flatwoods, passed away September 30, 2023, in King’s Daughters Medical Center.

Ms. Burgess was born May 9, 1952, in Ashland, to the late Robert and Ella Opal Stanley.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Sharon Williams (Marders).

Judy was a former Housekeeper for Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. She was a social butterfly that never met a stranger and held the “gift of gab”. She enjoyed curling up reading a good book, however she loved going out line dancing with her friends. Judy was also a member of the Eagles.

She is survived by two sons, Shawn (Wayne Henry) Dingus and Doren Dingus; one daughter, Stephanie (Christopher) Campbell; grandchildren, Alyissa Mills and Alexandra Dingus; one sister, Glenda Midkiff; along with a special friend, Dolores (Tim) Martin.

Funeral services will be at 6:30 P.M., Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Carman Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 6:30, Wednesday, at the funeral home.
