Joyce Hassler

Joyce Hassler, 96, of Flatwoods, passed away peacefully November 11, 2022 in the Trinity Station Retirement Community.

Mrs. Joyce Hassler was born September 20, 1926 in Buffalo, NY, to the late William and Margaret Kennedy Hermann.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Hassler; one son, James Hassler; one daughter, Rebecca Hassler; along with one brother, William Hermann.

Joyce retired from Ashland Oil as a marketing specialist. She was a former member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Ashland. She loved her family and loved being able to travel with her late husband.

Left behind to cherish her memory is one son, Timothy (Debra) Hassler; sister, Gloria Gorguez; daughter-in-law, Eileen Hassler; grandchildren, Sharon (Cody) Bates, Joseph (Brittany) Hassler and Amy (Brian) Barker; great-grandchildren, Isabela Barker, Ava Barker, Charlotte Bates, Harley Hassler and Haisley Hassler.

A private committal will be in the Kentucky Veteran Cemetery North East.
