John Franklin Gold, 45, of Greenup, passed away September 16, 2022 in King’s Daughters Medical Center.
Mr. Gold was born April 29, 1977 in Louisville to Kathy Gold and the late John Wesley Gold.
John was a former employee of North American Explosive Services. He loved being outdoors out on the water kayaking and fishing. He had a passion for restoring old cars, playing video games, cooking and he also enjoyed photography.
Along with his mother, Kathy, he is survived by two sons, John Steven Gold and Ashton Tyler Gold; one brother, Wesley (Jessica) Gold; nieces and nephew, Mikey, Lexi and Hannah Gold.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 23, 2022 at Carman Funeral Home. At the request of John and the family, please dress in casual, comfortable clothing.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home.
