JoAnne Ruth Brown

JoAnne Ruth Brown, 84, of Flatwoods, KY.,, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at her daughters residence in Florence, KY. She was born in Sandusky, OH., September 25, 1933 a daughter of the late Bryan Ray and Laurel Keller Griffin.

JoAnne was a Homemaker; she enjoyed Bowling at Blue Ribbon Lanes, playing cards, Bingo and Fishing. She was also a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Flatwoods.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Eugene Brown, one son Thomas Jefferson Brown, four brothers and two sisters.

Surviving are two daughters Cindy Kubasek Seger of Florence, KY., and Tammy Brown (Darrell) Vance of St Albans, W. VA., one son Bryan (Karen) Kubasek of Jacksonville, FL., one grandchild Christopher (Julie) Birkley., two great grandchildren Rachel and Brooke., three brothers, four sisters and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who will sadly miss her.

Graveside services will be held 2 P.M. Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, KY. Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY., is in charge of arrangements.
