Jimmy W. Hayes

1946-2018

Jimmy W. Hayes, 71, of Russell passed away January 24, 2018 in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.

Mr. Hayes was born June 22, 1946 to the late Virgil and Darlene Miller Hayes in Ashland.

Jimmy was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the Eagles, VFW and American Legion.  Jimmy was also formerly employed by C&O Railroad. In his later years he gave his life to the Lord and dedicated his time to taking care of his family but most of all his mother.

He is survived by one son, Christopher (Angela) Hayes; four grandchildren, Jacob, Zailey, Madilynn and Nolan Hayes.

Funeral services will be at 11 am, Monday, January 29, 2018 at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm, Sunday, January 28, 2018 at the funeral home.
