Janice Leigh Moore

Janice Leigh Moore, 64, of Russell passed away May 13, 2021 at her home.

Ms. Moore was born August 5, 1956 to the late William L. and Ola S. Skaggs Smith.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Clarence Smith; sister, Rita Lykins; and nephew, James Armstrong.

Janice was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, serving 23 years. She was a former trainer for the National Security Agency and was an educator within the Government for many years. She loved being able to travel the world while severing her country.

She is survived by one son, Cody Moore; one daughter, Kari Leigh Golden; two grandchildren, Cadence Jade Golden and Gavin Golden; one sister, Susan McNabb; along with a host of many nieces and nephews.

Private entombment will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
